FAQ's

How does scheduling work?
Families begin by applying to join our service. Once approved, they receive access to our booking portal.
From there, we suggest a nanny match based on their needs. Both the family and nanny must approve the match before the shift is confirmed and full job details are shared.
Are you a faith-based organization?
Nurture & Co. was founded with Christian values at its core. We believe in integrity, kindness, service, and supporting strong family foundations in the homes we serve.
While many of the families and caregivers in our community share a Christian background, we do not require families or caregivers to adhere to a specific faith. We welcome individuals who respect and support the values that guide our work.
We especially enjoy partnering with caregivers connected to local church communities, but all qualified, professional caregivers are encouraged to apply.
What are your rates?
Our family rates typically begin in the low-to-mid $30s/hour depending on the number of children, scheduling needs, and level of care required.
We prioritize trusted, high-quality caregivers and compensate them competitively to ensure dependable, consistent care for every family we serve.
Can I request the same nanny each time?
We prioritize consistent care so your child can build a trusted relationship with the same nanny. After we carefully match your family with a caregiver, future bookings will be assigned to that nanny.
How are the nannies screened?
All caregivers complete interviews, background checks, CPR, AED, and First Aid Certifications, and reference checks before joining our network.
What age range do you provide childcare for?
We provide care for children from infancy through age 16. Most of our placements support families with newborns, toddlers, and elementary-aged children.
If your child has specific needs or routines, we’ll work to match your family with a caregiver whose experience aligns with your child’s age and stage.
Are there any additional fees or commitments?
No. We don’t require long-term contracts, placement fees, or ongoing subscriptions for weekly care. You’re free to book as needed and can stop using the service at any time. Our goal is to provide flexible, reliable support without locking you into commitments—while simply asking for advance notice when plans change to respect your caregiver’s time.
FAQ's for Families

How do I apply?
Apply through the nanny application on our Get Started page. We look for caregivers with childcare experience who are reliable, professional, and aligned with our values. Qualified candidates will be invited to interview and complete screening before being matched with families.
How do shifts work?
We focus on long-term family matches rather than one-time babysitting jobs. Once paired with a family, you’ll receive shift requests through the app and can accept shifts that work with your schedule.

Our caregivers are hired as W-2 employees of Nurture & Co.
This structure ensures proper payroll processing, tax withholding, and compliance with state and federal labor laws. It also allows us to maintain consistent standards, provide clear policies, and offer dependable, professional care for the families we serve.
