FAQ's

How does scheduling work?
Families begin by applying to join our service. Once approved, they receive access to our booking portal.
From there, we suggest a nanny match based on their needs. Both the family and nanny must approve the match before the shift is confirmed and full job details are shared.
Are you a faith-based organization?
Nurture & Co. was founded with Christian values at its core. We believe in integrity, kindness, service, and supporting strong family foundations in the homes we serve.
While many of the families and caregivers in our community share a Christian background, we do not require families or caregivers to adhere to a specific faith. We welcome individuals who respect and support the values that guide our work.
We especially enjoy partnering with caregivers connected to local church communities, but all qualified, professional caregivers are encouraged to apply.
How do payments work?
Invoices are sent through our secure online system. Families only pay for booked care. There are no membership fees.
What age range do you provide childcare for?
We provide care for children from infancy through age 16. Most of our placements support families with newborns, toddlers, and elementary-aged children.
If your child has specific needs or routines, we’ll work to match your family with a caregiver whose experience aligns with your child’s age and stage.
Can I request the same nanny each time?
We prioritize consistent care so your child can build a trusted relationship with the same nanny. You’re welcome to request a preferred provider, and we will do our best to accommodate based on availability.
How are the nannies screened?
All caregivers complete interviews, background checks, CPR certifications, and reference checks before joining our network.
How do cancelations work?
We understand that plans can change. Families may cancel a scheduled shift with at least 12 hours’ notice without penalty. Cancellations made within 12 hours will incur a cancellation fee to respect the caregiver’s reserved time.
Caregivers are also expected to provide as much notice as possible if they are unable to fulfill a scheduled shift. In the event of an emergency, we work quickly to communicate with both parties and arrange coverage whenever possible.
